Small businesses are in dire need of assistance as many have been forced to close or rethink operations during the coronavirus outbreak. Those whose operations haven’t been directly affected, have felt its impact through staffing issues or lagging customer demand as the nation locks down to fight Coronavirus. To help you find the funding your business needs to survive, we’re aggregating all available public and private funding options in the easy to navigate tool below.

Federal Aid

MicroLOAN SD

The MicroLOAN offers a 3% fixed-interest rate on up to a 10-year term. Loan amounts vary from $1,000 to $100,000 on projects sized up to $750,000. Any business which has received MicroLOAN South Dakota funds and subsequently derives any portion of their revenue from the previously mentioned activities prior to repaying all principal and interest on their MicroLOAN South Dakota loan, shall be deemed to be in default of their MicroLOAN agreement. Non-profit businesses and agricultural production are not eligible to apply for MicroLOAN funds. MicroLOAN funds may not be used for refinancing purposes.

LiftFund Small Business Disaster Relief Programs

LiftFund is ready to support small business during this time. They’ve partnered with communities across our footprint to lift small businesses while we battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

WaFd Bank Small Business Lifeline

• Businesses that have seen a 10% or greater drop in revenue. • Subject to approved credit. • Requires WaFd Checking account.

Craft3 Business Loans

Craft3 provides low-interest loans to community-based nonprofits and small businesses, with more flexible criteria than traditional financial institutions. Additionally, it is allowing existing Craft3 clients to revise their loan agreements (i.e. due date extensions, temporary payment reductions, etc.).

Clio Relief Fund

Only for current Clio users.

Open Road Alliance

$50,000 loan to organizations with annual revenues of $1 million or less. 1-2% simple interest. Applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Stimulus 2020

Stimulus 2020 is a privately-funded stimulus program intended to support America’s local businesses. Must sign up for an account.

GoFundMe Small Business Relief Fund

The Small Business Relief Initiative was started by GoFundMe to help small businesses that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and empower their communities to rally behind them. GoFundMe has partnered with Yelp, Intuit QuickBooks, GoDaddy, and Bill.com to provide small business owners with the financial support and resources needed to continue running their businesses during and after the coronavirus crisis.

Musicians Foundation

In today’s volatile professional climate, many musicians experience greater financial risk than ever before. Musicians Foundation provides aid for people who have worked in the US as a professional musician for at least 5 years.

Foundation for Contemporary Arts

For experimental artists who have been impacted by the economic fallout from postponed or canceled performances and exhibitions. Applications for FCA Emergency Grants COVID-19 Fund 2.0 close on March 15, 2021.

OnDeck Term Loan

Been in business 3 years. Personal FICO 600. Annual revenue $250,000+. Have a business bank account.

Paypal Working Capital

Have a PayPal Premier or Business account for 3+ months. Minimum $20,000 PayPal sales in the past year in a Premier account or $15,000 in PayPal sales with a Business account.

Paypal Business Loan

Have a PayPal Business account; processing payments with PayPal is optional. Minimum credit score: 550. Minimum time in business: 9 months. Minimum annual revenue: $42,000. No personal bankruptcies.

Greater Cleveland COVID-10 Rapid Response Fund

Must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves people over 60 years of age, people with compromised immune systems, people that are pregnant, people with other increased health risks associated with the novel coronavirus, low-income residents, homeless people, residents without access to health insurance or PTO, people with limited English language proficiency, healthcare or service workers, people of color, people with disabilities, or incarcerated or returning people. Must e-mail covid19response@clevefdn.org for further funding details and application.

National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) Grant

Growth Grant applicants must be a member in good standing for 3-months prior to submitting an application. (Annual members may apply immediately. Monthly members may apply ninety days after joining the NASE.) - Demonstrate a business need that could be fulfilled by the grant - Provide a detailed explanation of how you will use the grant proceeds - Show how the grant will improve your business growth and success - Offer supporting documentation such as a résumé and business plan"

SheaMoisture Minority Small Business Fund

SheaMoisture will award minority-owned businesses that are finding creative ways to support their communities through COVID19.

Verizon Small Business Recovery Fund

The funding will go to make grants of up to $10,000, especially to entrepreneurs of color, women-owned businesses and other enterprises in historically under-served places who don’t have access to flexible, affordable capital. Verizon will highlight and bolster these efforts through their inaugural "Pay It Forward Live" online concert series. Wefunder Emergency Funding

Wefunder, an investment crowdfunding platform, launched a Coronavirus Crisis Loans program enabling small businesses to crowdfund loans of $20,000 to $1 million from supporters. Website not working.

RWCF COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund

The Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation formed a COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund for small businesses and their restaurant workers, and is accepting donations.

Opportunity Fund Coronavirus Relief Fund

Opportunity Fund, which specializes in money lending to small businesses owned by women, immigrants and people of color, is collaborating with investors and nonprofits to put together a coronavirus relief fund that will provide grants and low-interest rate loans to business owners in need.

MainVest Main Street Initiative

MainVest, a crowdfunding platform, announced its new Main Street Initiative: a $2,000, zero-interest, 120 day loan for restaurants or other brick and mortars affected by the shutdown, in addition to its normal fundraising offerings.

Kiva 0% interest small business loans

Kiva is urging small businesses to apply for 0% interest loans up to $15,000. The company is also offering a longer grace period: new borrowers can access a grace period of up to 6 months. Application information: https://www.kiva.org/borrow

GoFundMe Small Business Relief Fund

The GoFundMe.org Small Business Relief Fund will provide micro-grants to qualifying small businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
