Tech Forward Webcast: How Technology is Fueling N.C.’s Economic Recovery
The Connected Commerce Council (3C) is pleased to host the North Carolina Technology Association, Innovate Raleigh, and the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce for a webinar to discuss the importance of technology platforms and digital tools for empowering North Carolina businesses, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will highlight the value of technology investments in further situating North Carolina as a nationwide leader in innovation, while also focusing on the importance of digital platforms in empowering small businesses – particularly those operated by Black and Hispanic business owners.
Following keynote remarks from Raleigh Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin, the conversation will cover the innovation driving growth and recovery in the Triangle area, the digital infrastructure supporting North Carolina’s small business community, and the current legislative environment surrounding tech.
The significance of digital tools amidst the pandemic has been underscored by a recent study confirming the existence of a “Digital Safety Net” that has enabled many small businesses to survive and recover from the economic impact of COVID-19 – in some cases, becoming stronger and more agile in the process.
This event is open to the public.
