3C University Launches Online Course to Empower Small Businesses in Scaling Their Workforces

Washington, DC (July 12, 2023): The Connected Commerce Council (3C) today released the latest 3C University (3CU) course, “Scale Your Workforce.” This free online course is the third of four training programs from 3CU in 2023, and the sixth overall to help small businesses optimize digital tools to enhance their operations and drive more revenue.

The “Scale Your Workforce” course is designed to equip small businesses with the knowledge and skills required to hire the right employees to grow a business effectively. Small business leaders will master the hiring process by learning when to hire new talent, what to look for in applicants, and how to structure interviews. This course also empowers small businesses to leverage digital tools like LinkedIn, Slack, and applicant tracking systems to attract and hire top-tier candidates. 

“Hiring the best available employees is vital for growing a business,” said Christina Lock, a recruiting executive and 3CU digital trainer. “Small business leaders will leave this course with the knowledge and confidence they need to attract and hire the best talent for their company.”

“Scale Your Workforce” follows “QuickBooks Basics,” a course which focuses on effective accounting management, and “Engaging Customers,” a comprehensive course on finding, attracting, and retaining customers utilizing digital tools. 

In addition to this year’s courses, 3CU previously released “Fundamentals” to help small businesses embark on their digital journey and “Digital Accounting Basics” to help small businesses seamlessly adopt digital accounting tools.
