Beth Fynbo of Oronoco, MN, quickly identified a problem all new parents deal with shortly after her son was born. She put an end to the “toddler toss” and invented Busy Baby, the first-ever food-grade silicon mat that provides a clean place for a baby’s food and keeps their toys and utensils off the ground, keeping them busy, happy, and safer from germs. 

Beth started Busy Baby from her basement with very little money. Using digital tools, Busy Baby is now a seven-figure company. Beth sells on Amazon and her Shopify website. Amazon exposes Busy Baby to millions of shoppers, and their shipping and logistics service saves Beth countless hours by handling all her labeling, packing, and shipping. Beth also leverages digital advertising to determine her target audience and how to reach them best. Today, Beth sells baby products to parents from Minnesota to Mississippi and beyond.

As Busy Baby continues to grow and thrive, Beth worries about the possible effects of new laws and regulations on her business. If Google and Amazon don’t work as well as they currently do, it could force Beth to significantly change how she runs her business, a disruption she can’t afford.
