Through the power of digital tools and support from their community, Patty’s Cakes is one of the highest-rated bakeries on major review platforms and expanded to a larger location in 2016.

Philip uses inexpensive Google Ads to attract his target audience and grow his customer base beyond Fullerton. Patty’s Cakes is thriving, but proposed legislation like Congress’s AMERICA Act and American Innovation and Choice Online Act (AICOA) could force Google to change its operations, ultimately harming small businesses like Philip’s. While meeting with his Member of Congress, Philip emphasized the value digital tools bring to his business and advocated against any new laws that would make digital tools more expensive and less effective.
