How Technology Is Fueling the Utah Recovery & Growing the Utah Economy
The Connected Commerce Council (3C) is pleased to host The Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) and The Center for Growth and Opportunity for a webinar to discuss the importance of technology platforms and tools for empowering Utah businesses, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion will also cover pursuits by elected officials in Washington, DC, and across the country, to stifle the technology sector and prevent the industry from providing these essential services.
The conversation will cover the current privacy landscape, the need for clear privacy legislation and enforcement, what consumers and corporate leaders seek from legislation, and the current legislative environment surrounding tech in Congress.
The significance of digital tools amidst the pandemic has been underscored by a recent study showing that one in three small business owners claim that they would have had to close all or part of their business without digital tools.
