With Amazon’s Help, Dog-Care Brand Helps Empower Women
Glendale, Arizona
Pet-products industry veteran Jessica Berger launched Bundle x Joy in 2022. The dog-care brand offers healthy food, treats, and toys for dogs, and stylish merch for proud dog moms. With a core mission of empowerment, the business partners with local and women-owned businesses and donates three percent of every purchase to support women entrepreneurs.
After just three years, Bundle x Joy is thriving. Jessica sells her products through her website, in Sprouts and Whole Foods grocery stores, and on online marketplace Amazon, which she says has helped her reach new customers and speed up delivery times. She uses the platform’s Fulfillment by Amazon and Prime services to help manage inventory and logistics, giving her more time to focus on growing her business. Bundle x Joy also benefits from Amazon’s “Support Small” badge, which helps it stand out from bigger competitors.
“There’s a lot of change happening in retail, and it can be hard for small sellers to adjust,” Jessica said. “Amazon is so important to keeping our business strong.”
Amazon also uses artificial intelligence (AI) to support small businesses like Bundle x Joy. If a prospective customer wants to learn more about the brand’s products, Amazon’s AI-powered “review highlights” feature instantly summarizes hundreds of customer reviews. That makes shopping easier, generating more sales for Jessica — and more support for important causes.
Jessica has used Amazon’s marketplace and services to help her business succeed, and Bundle x Joy is poised to continue growing in 2025. But if the Federal Trade Commission’s lawsuit targeting Amazon makes it harder to use the platform’s tools, Jessica — like thousands of small sellers — may be forced to close her business.
“Amazon helps us scale and grow our business,” she said. “If we can’t do that, our business will really struggle.”
